Step by step

Layer 1: Ethereum

1. Install self-custody wallet (eg. Metamask, Trust Wallet, xDeFi Wallet, Rainbow Wallet 🌈). Available in App Store and Google Play Store, compatible with Chrome and iOS.

2. Set up your Ethereum Wallet by following the guidelines (No sign-up needed) 👝

3. SUPER IMPORTANT

   • Remember your seed phrase and private keys, write it down in a paper/notepad. 📝

     (This is the only way to recover your wallet, lost your seed phrase = lose your coin)

4. Start funding your wallet with some Ethereum ($ETH) to pay the gas fee

5. Connect your wallet to legit DApps (eg. Uniswap, 1inch, Aave, MakerDAO, OpenSea, etc.)

Things you SHOULDN’T DO with your self-custody wallet: ⛔

• Connect your wallet to scam/phishing websites.

• Clicking on suspicious links.

• Giving away your seed phrase to anyone.
